Special Opportunities, Abilities, and Relationships
Who? – Children with special needs and their typical
siblings ages 2-10!
What? – A “night off” for parents where children will have
fun playing games, creating crafts, making music, and
forming relationships with their buddy and other children!
One Friday every month, two Special Education trained educators and several volunteers from our congregation host a respite night for children in the community with special needs and their siblings. Parents may drop their children off for 3 hours of highly supervised fun and activities geared toward kids with special needs. This monthly date night gives parents a needed night off and children an opportunity to build relationships.
(currently cancelled due to COVID-19)
