OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD IS BACK!!

250x250

A small shoebox can have a big impact. What goes into the box is fun, but what comes out of it is eternal. Be a part of changing children’s lives all over the world in Jesus’ Name through the power of a simple gift with Operation Christmas Child. Our goal this year is to send 175 boxes. Collection of boxes begins on Nov 9 and ends Nov 23 at Ascension. Can you help?  Click the link below to check out a brief video on the project.

Good News. Great Joy. 2014

This Week in our Crazy Love Study

When you’re truly in love, you go to great lengths to be with the one you love. When you’re apart from each other, it’s painful, even miserable. Are you madly in love with God?

Join us this Sunday for our next session of “Crazy Love”, by Francis Chan, during adult education hour at 11 a.m., as we talk about “When You’re in Love”.

Pastor Brennan’s blog October 2, 2014

Father, we ask that you’d help us to see what it means to really know we’re saved by grace. How radical that is! It means the prostitutes and the tax collectors get into the kingdom of God first. It means those of us who have been very good need to recognize a deeper kind of repentance. It really means all of us now know there is a hopeful humility and deep security that only comes when we understand the gospel.
This is the gospel, that you sent your Son, who died for us while we were yet enemies. You sent your Son, and he died at our very hands. You did it because you wanted us. We ask that you’d help us to understand and live this out through the power of your Spirit. In Jesus’ name we ask it, amen.

This Week in Our Paul Study – November 2, 2014

paullystra2Are you living under the pressure of negative criticism? The apostle Paul did too. You can learn a lot from how Paul dealt with criticism: remain calm. Rest your case with your Lord. Take your battles to Him in prayer. The Judge of all truth will guide you to your next step…which should include joining us for our continuing study of Paul, A Man of Grace and Grit. Sundays at 11am in the Fireside room at Ascension. Chapter 18..
